2002
- March - Third Taiko arcade game. (Taiko no Tatsujin 3)
- October - First Taiko game only for home console. (Tatakon de DoDon ga Don - PS2)
- December - Fourth Taiko arcade game. (Taiko no Tatsujin 4)
2003
- March - Second Taiko game only for home console. (Doki! Shinkyoku Darake no Haru Matsuri - PS2)
- October - Fifth Taiko arcade game. (Taiko no Tatsujin 5)
- October - Third Taiko game only for home console. This is the last installment which uses the old engine. (Appare Sandaime - PS2)
- December - First Taiko game to play only anime songs. This is the last installment which uses the old engine. (Waku Waku Anime Matsuri - PS2)
2004
- July - Fourth Taiko game only for home console. Graphics were updated.(Atsumare! Matsuri da!! Yondaime - PS2)
- September - Sixth Taiko arcade game. This is the last installment which uses the old engine. (Taiko no Tatsujin 6)
- October - American version of the Taiko game for home console. Released in USA. (Taiko Drum Master)
- December - Fifth Taiko game only for home console. A sweet potato note has added! (Go! Go! Godaime)
2005
- March - American version of the Taiko game for home console. Released in Japan. (Taiko Drum Master)
- August - Second Taiko game to play only anime songs. (Tobikkiri! Anime Special - PS2)
- August - First Taiko game for handheld. (Taiko no Tatsujin Portable - PSP)
- September - Seventh Taiko arcade game. Still only in JUSCO stores in Malaysia.(Taiko no Tatsujin 7)
- December - Sixth Taiko game only for home console. Sweet potato note now can earn points! (Wai Wai Happy! Rokudaime)
2006
- March - Eighth Taiko arcade game. (Taiko no Tatsujin 8)
- September - Second and last Taiko game for handheld. (Taiko no Tatsujin Portable 2 - PSP)
- December - Seventh and last Taiko game only for home console. DON-KAT! to Oomori Nanadaime - PS2
- December - Ninth Taiko arcade game. (Taiko no Tatsujin 9)
